Fueling the future of autonomous vehicles

Designated Driver was established by automotive industry visionaries who are passionate about creating a complete teleoperation technology solution for autonomous vehicles. We believe that autonomous vehicles are the future of transportation—but getting there requires the safety net of teleoperation.

More uses for your technology

Designated Driver increases use cases for autonomous vehicles by making them usable in unfamiliar situations, such as when driving through road construction or inclement weather. Customers get complete dedicated operation of remote vehicles with seamless operator takeover of autonomous vehicles when they enter hazardous or low-visibility situations. These capabilities expand the scenarios in which autonomous vehicles can be successful, enabling shipping and agricultural operations.

Integrated solution

You shouldn’t have to sacrifice any technology you’ve already developed to implement a teleoperation solution. That’s why Designated Driver works with, not against, the technology you’ve already got in place, saving you development time and money.
